okay I just reached the 'to be continued' and hhhhhhhhh I don't usually leave comments but the humour? Fantastic. Characters? Yes very good. Romance? Slow and steady and believable.  Horror? Sparse and solid. And the writing, barring like one mistaken 'it's' instead of 'its' and (not even technically writing) the coding error that happened with large font size i.e. ""xyz"", was amazing too.

OMG! I LOVE THIS VISUAL NOVEL!!! I can't wait for more of it in the coming days!

(+1)

I hope this will continue , the story is absolutely amazing and I love the way that it's going so far and I can't wait to see what the next build has for the future

(+1)

Consider me enthralled. Talk about a unique setting, good on ya for having no spoilers in the description or pics.

While the pacing wasn't perfect at the beginning, I feel like you guys really come into your own in the middle of build 2. I haven't experienced such good and engaging writing since Echo, the art keeps the vibe of what's going on really well, and the writing has the exact right amount of tension and realistic character interactions building up chemistry.

The in depth talk about philosophy/big topics is apparently a turn off for some people, but honestly I love it, it's very evocative of some of my favorite visual novel works from Uchikoshi, the creator of the zero escape and AI somnium files series. I'd say keep true to your vision there myself.

Hope more people come to see how good this is, also you guys are killing it with the quantity of content as well, for it being build 3 there's a lot to read, yet again another example of your guys' professional quality. Will definitely be recommending more people to this.

Wait what does Uchi has to do with it? He was always developing death games/escape room type of vns while this appears to be slice of life drama…

(+1)

It's not about it being a death game/escape room that's just surface level observation of genre, it's the way the vn is written, as I explained in my comment. The way people talk to each other, the little things brought up, I got into this fresh off of AI somnium files 2 so I felt those vibes hard when reading this haha.

And again, if the author is reading this, I do not mean it in a bad way at all, I'm not saying you're copying it or anything, I mean it as a compliment, Uchikoshi's work is very engaging and I find myself being engaged in a similar way that's tickling my brain in the same way, they may have not even read any of his VNs and it just be a total coincidence haha c:

(+1)

so first you break our heart with build 1, now you break our hope and soul with build 2?

that terror, this despair and the crushing loneliness? you nailed it mash

I'm not sure if I've given my thoughts on this VN yet, but here I go.

Overall, the basis for this story is quite unique within the furry visual novel community. The writing style is quite bland, but it suits the story well enough. I enjoy the somewhat original take on zombies, even if I wish it was a different version of an apocalypse. The MC is also extremely bland and has zero personality. I still enjoy the VN tho. I've noticed around 8 typos in the 3rd build that need to be fixed.

One complaint I have with the latest build is that Xavier's monologue near the end feels extremely forced and out of character. It genuinely just feels like the author spouting  a bunch of nonsense, and not the character trying to explain his mental ills. Mayhaps, you should rewrite that section to sound more natural and in character for Xavier.

In conclusion, I'd give this VN a 3/5. Also, I'll attach my playthrough of the game here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs_BZI-CHxZw45igG8Sw4WUJx5-k95nkp

Ahh~ UwU these updates just keep getting better and better! :3 I really love the direction xou're taking the story :p and kudos on the Adastra reference n_~

(+1)

the MC its a human ?

Yes.

(+3)

Yes, he is. Here I thought the CGs in game would have confirmed it.

(+2)

I'm loving this VN and I cannot wait to see where is it heading to ^w^

(+3)

This is a very impressive VN.  The music itself sets the mood perfectly.  And I can already tell the story is going to be awesome.

(+4)

Really great Vn, look forward to the next update.

(1 edit) (+5)

This is such an amazing VN. I love post apocalyptic stories as well as romance. I may be a bit biased but this is definitely one of my favorite VNs that I've read. The storytelling and writing is so well written and the art is also amazing. My favorite part about this though would probably have to be the music. The main menu song is so peaceful and sounds like a happy and sad song at the same time, a bittersweet composition, and that's what I love about it. Even though Dorian and everyone else is going through hell right now, it brought them all closer and through the experience they all had together, they made a close knit community that probably would not have happened if the apocalypse didn't happen. I'm not saying that they should be grateful or anything, far from it, but sometimes if you're in a hole of despair or remorse, it's not a bad idea to look at the silver lining, even if it's something tiny. Y'all did an amazing job with this VN. I can't wait to see more. Keep up the amazing work!

(+3)

awesome update :D

(+1)

Fun update! I think you forgot to post a dev log here tho

(+2)

*braces my heart, steels my mind, prays for thy soul*

(+3)

I can't wait to see more from this VN!

(+5)

Sadly it was short, cuz man, it was damn good! :D

Waiting for more of it.

Loved the way it was written and how's coming along so far... the world seems well estabilished, same for the background of MC.

Oh yeah, prolly cuz  my english isn't so good but I wasn't able to understand the hell Marshall said when giving the pocket watch... anyone can help with it? xP

Thanks for the amazing work!

(+4)

I downloaded this one a while back and only now got the chance to sit down and play and wow, just wow. This is some outstanding writing. It's been years since ive been so hooked on something like this. I simply must have more.

(+1)

Do we know when next update will be?

(+3)

He's doing regular dev logs on patreon it seems, so hopefully soon

(+3)

Imma follow this real quick-

(+5)

Incredible first build, very very excited to see where this game goes!

(+1)

My respect. Very, very good piece of art.

Game fails to start on Android (yes, I have the latest version). It will boot, but attempting to start will cause it to crash. Exiting from Preferences (after tapping Return) does the same, prompting a hard crash.

(+1)

Same, I hope the dev manages to fix the problem soon, I really want to read this, people are talking really well about it and I want to experience it myself

Problem might be fixed now so give it a shot!

(+1)

It is working! Thank you

I really like the world building so far, and the storytelling is amazing, it feels so organic, real, specially at the retelling of what happened, I could easily picture each of the scenes in my head, like I was living through it. Amazing VN

(+2)

Holy shit this was one of the best vns I played in a while.

Show post...

93/100 VERY GOOD

(+4)

How can you bless us with the existance of Marshall, only to take him away from us after only a few minutes !? And why does it hurt so much !?

*regains composure*

More seriously, being able to make people feel attached to charaters so quickly is really impressive and is proof of great writing and story-telling, and it's just the beginning. I will definitely stay tuned for more.

(+1)

i know riiiiight??? marshal just have to be okay or ill cry myself to sleep for the rest of my life

the skills of the writter to get that kinda attachment to the characters this early really shows how good this VN is gonna be once its further along and i for one cant wait to see where it goes

10/10 VN from first update is impressive

(+2)

Impressive UwU good writing, and the delivery of the story, events, and the overall pace is done nicely too. Everything is well thought out :) xou may have just started, but I really do like the direction it's going! n_n

Not only would I like to say how One Last Night is a welcomed change of pace to the regular out-the-door-butt-f#cking we get in most VN's D_D but it's a real delight to see an anthropomorphian bat that has thought put into his design ^^_

Great job so far! :D I'm interested to see where this goes~ keep it up! >_</

(-3)

update?

(+2)

Liking it so far, but have a question is this going to have multiple romance routes?

(+4)(-2)

Nope, this will be a relatively linear vn!

For something so new, the character design and storytelling is amazing!

(+3)

Can't wait to see more what the story has to offer!

(+3)

Definitely a breath of fresh air. Good writing too. I hope you guys can keep the momentum coz this one is filled with crazy possibilities with people no longer bound by old laws and the world itself changed. Looking forward to more.

(+4)

I'm really enjoying it so far! I hope we eventually do find Marshall, I already got attached to him. Can't wait to see more!

(+2)

I really like it and I look forward on how things will go from now on, best of luck for you and your team that are making this VN.

(+5)

What a great start to this story! Keep up the great work!
